Where do I start...My parents were doing two leagues a week at Adams Bowl, us kids sitting in the seats with orange sodas and peanuts. As I got older, bowling in Adams Bowl became an event that was looked forward to since his business was one of the few places in Centerville that families could get together. It was when he started the Junior Bowling Leagues that bring back the most memories for me. Through My father and Abie, I had become a pretty decent bowler and with the trust Abie put in me, I was hired to run the Junior Bowling Leagues on weekends. Abies dedication to the sport of bowling opened up so many opportunities for the kids in Centerville, and I was proud to have been a part of his dedication to get the kids of Centerville into a sport that he believed in, so much. Centerville has lost a good man that was dedicated to a sport he loved so well, and through his pursuits, shared and coached his talents of bowling to the growing enjoyment of all ages. He provided the chance for the people of Centerville to meet challenges in a sport, and recognized their success when he presented the trophies and patches of the winners and the players of a sport he was so devoted to. From us, Eddie and Tonja Stock, we give our deepest thoughts, prayers, and shared memories to Mary, Smokey, and the rest of his loved ones. Know that we do remember Abie, and his part in our life growing up, and his loss is felt. Sincerely, Eddie and Tonja Stock Wedgefield, SC
