Albena L. Sacco's Obituary
Albena L. Sacco, age 93, of Centerville, Iowa, died Friday, January 20, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Regina I. (Cambruzzi) and John Faoro on January 15, 1913 in Centerville, Iowa. In 1930, she graduated from Centerville High School in Centerville, Iowa.On February 6, 1932, Albena was united in marriage to Louis Sacco in Centerville, Iowa. In 1932, they built the Pale Moon Restaurant west of Centerville and owned it until 1949. Then in 1951, they purchased the Green Circle Restaurant in Centerville and owned it until she retired in 1993. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Hospital Auxiliary.Albena was preceded in death by: her parents; and her husband, Louis J. Sacco, on June 20, 1988.She is survived by: her daughter, Barbara Feehan and her husband Bill of Marco Island, Florida; and sons, Louis F. Sacco of Forsyth, Missouri and Joe Sacco of Westmont, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 11:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville with Fr. Ron WIll C.PP.S officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2006 from 1:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home. with the family present from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. and a prayer service starting at 7:30 pm.Memorials can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church and can be left or mailed to To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Albena L.
