Aera J. Morris' Obituary
Aera J. Morris, age 80, of Mystic, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Otto L. and Pherma J. (Smith) Moore on February 1, 1926 in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from the Centerville Community School.On June 30, 1943, Aera was united in marriage to Paul Morris in Unionville, Missouri. She spent her adult life on the farm northeast of Plano, except for five years in Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by: her parents and a sister, Ida Virginia South.Aera is survived by: her husband, Paul Morris of Mystic, Iowa; sons, Edwin L. Morris and his wife, Harriett of Marion, Iowa and Charles William Morris and his wife, Clarissa of Mystic, Iowa; daughter, Linda J. Morris and her partner, Janine Helms of Meridian, Idaho; grandchildren, Julia L. Wittnebel and her husband, James, Jr. of Marion, Iowa, Andrew W. Morris and his wife, Jennifer of Ankeny, Iowa, Katherine S. Drake and her husband, Steven of Centerville, Iowa, Terri J. Arbogast and her husband, Michael of Numa, Iowa and Andrea E. Morris of Waverly, Iowa; great grandchildren, Alexander J. Wittnebel of Marion, Iowa, Ashlee Post of Ottumwa, Iowa, Derik Drake of Centerville, Iowa and Ranee J. Arbogast of Numa, Iowa.Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 1:30 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Marvin Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery north west of Mystic, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2006 from 1 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm.
