Adam Wade 'Peck' Elarton, age 39, of Mystic, IA, died Thursday, September 4, 2003, at his home in Mystic, IA. He was born the son of Enoch Dwight and Dorothy (Douglas) Elarton on September 4, 1964 in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from the Horizon High School in Centerville, IA in 1982. Adam was united in marriage to Regina Corbett on August 28, 1999 at Numa, IA. They later divorced. He worked for Voltmaster in Corydon, IA for 2 years. He attended Tuesday 'Sunday' School classes at the Numa Christian Church while growing up. He was preceded in death by: his father, Enoch Dwight Elarton; his grandparents; his uncle, Bill Douglas and one nephew, Mark Elarton.Surviving family members include: his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Gary Barrell of Mystic, IA; two sisters, Connie Susin and Brenda Corbin of Numa, IA; two brothers, David Elarton and Russell Elarton of Numa, IA; special friend, Pops Hamilton; his caretakers who took special care of him during his illness, Penny Elarton, Julie Elarton and Marlene Williamson and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Numa Cemetery at Numa, Iowa.Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2003 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, IA.
