Ada Bailey's Obituary
Ada Marie Bailey, 87 of Centerville died Monday, August 30, 2004 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville. Ada was born the daughter of Andrew and Ida (Forsythe) Oliver in Caldwell Township on April 26, 1917. She married Orval Bailey in Moulton on November 30, 1962, he preceded her in death in 1973. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville. Ada is survived by sister, Emma Cole of Centerville, seven nephews; Wilbur (Mary) Wallace, Mike (Theresa) Wallace both of Blue Grass, Ia, Don (Mary) Wallace of Davenport, Jim (Judy) Wallace of Russellville, Arkansas, Roger Oliver of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, David Cole of Exline, Dan (Pam) Cole of Pleasant Hill, Iowa and one niece Susan (Mike) Papale. Ada is preceded in death by her parents, husband Orval, three sisters Alta Adams, Alice Horn, Enid Wallace, two brothers; Bill Oliver and Lawrence Oliver, nephew Robert Cole and niece Marsha McCormick. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m.,Wednesday September 1, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Johnston officiating. Visitation will be all day Tuesday August 31, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 pm. Burial will be in Exline Cemetery. A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church which can be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St. Centerville, Ia 52544
