Elizabeth Weinberg Office Manager - Centerville

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Weinberg. I grew up in the Centerville area and attended Central College in Pella, Iowa, studying Business Management, Marketing and Spanish. After college, I moved back home to be close to family and friends. I married my husband, Shane, in August of 2020 and we moved to an area outside of Leon, Iowa. We like growing new things in our garden, raising our horses, cows, two dogs, Belle and Patsy, and we’re soon adding chickens to our little hobby farm. I have been working at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville since July of 2019. Prior to starting here, I had a handful of jobs, including waitressing, wedding coordinating and substitute teaching, all of which I dearly loved. You can now find me in the office here at the funeral home, handling paperwork and getting to know and assist many different families that come through our doors. To be honest, I never expected to work in the funeral home business; I had never really considered it. But I have come to love and sincerely appreciate this line of work.
