Eric and Brenda, My thoughts are with you both, although I've only known your dad thru the insurance agency he has always treated me with kindness and respect. I enjoyed visiting with him and through those conversations I know how much he loved his kids and his granddaughter! It's going to be a rough road ahead but hold strong to the memories and know that your dad will forever be in your hearts. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Gator Bates is a legend and will b so very sadly missed by all that knew him!! He was there for me n my son wen my husband died, My husband Howard Ryals painted some of Gators bikes for him! They had been good friends for many years and now they'll b together again in Heaven!! We all had lotsa great times together in tha past n will sure miss u Gator, RIP GATOR, Ride free good friend!!
