I worked with Maxine at Double R Dairy Bar back in highschool. She was like a second mother to many of us! I'll always remember her words of encouragement when we were having trouble with boyfriends or life in general, There are better days ahead, kid. With a smile, she'd follow that with a comforting pat on the back or a bear-hug. I always enjoyed the days that Andrew scheduled me with her! There are many people one comes across in a lifetime, but few that leave a permanent mark on your heart...Maxine was one that indeed left her mark and I'm sure I'm speaking for many of those who knew her. I know she missed her Kenny and now she is with him. To the children and grandchildren she left behind, be comforted in knowing that she was very proud of all of you. She used to share many stories and claimed many bragging rights when she worked at the Double R. My condolensces to the family...her absence, I'm confident, will be greatly missed in your family! Sending prayers your way to lift you up in God's comforting embrace! Peace to all of you! Kim (Pefley) Klinkhammer Posted by Kim (Pefley) Klinkhammer December 20, 2007
