Billy Thomas is a native of Appanoose County. He is the son of Ron and Roxanne Thomas. He has one sister, Chrissy (Jared) Kirby. Billy married Erin Huisman on June 1, 2013; a native of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
Billy is a past president and current member of the Centerville Lions Club. He is a member of First United Methodist Church in Centerville, the Masonic Jackson Lodge #42 in Centerville, former board member of the Rathbun Area YMCA and active in the support of local athletics from Grade School to High School kids.
Billy graduated from Centerville High School in 1994, Buena Vista University in 1999 and Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois in 2001. Before opening Thomas Funeral Home in 2007; Billy worked in the Chicago, Illinois, Des Moines and Centerville area. He is a licensed life insurance agent with the State of Iowa and pre-arrangement counselor. He feels his time in the Chicago and Des Moines area gave him knowledge beyond his years on various types of services and tragic situations.
Billy believes that trusting Thomas Funeral Home with your loved one is the ultimate compliment you may give us in your lifetime. He also understands that trust comes with a heavy heart and lots of mixed feelings. This is why he offers a no pressure approach to tailoring a fitting memorial for your family.
In his spare time, Billy enjoys golfing, exercising, socializing with friends and family and watching his nephews school activities.

In his spare time, Ron enjoys working at his farm, attending car shows, auctions and following his grandsons activities as they grow through their pre-teen years. He and his wife Roxanne enjoy traveling to mountainous areas throughout the country.
